Each customer’s data environment is kept discrete. There’s no access to a customer data environment, or CDE, from outside networks or from other ABCorp systems, and inbound files are retrieved only from within the CDE using known, expected file paths. End-of-life data is sanitized using NIST 800-88 protocols. That discipline holds steady even as the threat landscape around it evolves.
