Junior IT Risk & Security Analyst

An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior IT Risk and Security Analyst based at our Ingleburn
site. Reporting to the Group Security Manager, you will support the development and maintenance
of a comprehensive information security programme consistent with the organisation’s compliance
and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute towards ongoing development and maintenance of a comprehensive
    information security programme including recommending policy changes, defining
    security processes and standards; managing risks and the change management
    program;
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate due diligence around
    information security;
  • Select and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements, define
    processes and standards to ensure that security configurations are maintained;
  • Analyse the enterprise information security environment and recommend security
    measures to safeguard information assets;
  • Participate in infrastructure projects to plan, develop and implement specifications for
    network and distributed system security technologies;
  • Maintain an awareness of existing/ proposed securitystandardsetting groups, state &
    federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security;
  • Update Information Security procedures and standards in line with company policy and
    regulatory changes; and
  • Develop and participate in activities/ training regarding Information Security.

Key selection criteria:

  • Relevant IT experience, with some exposure to Information Security advantageous;
    Knowledge of Information Security, Operational Risk, Compliance and Project Risk
    Frameworks;
  • Experience managing and leading projects, including defining requirements, planning,
    and delivering results;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple
    priorities in a fastpaced environment; and
  • Engaging and team oriented work style.
