Production Planner

  • Based at Dandenong South, VIC

We have an opportunity available for a Production Planner based at our Dandenong South.
Reporting to the Plant Manager – VIC, this role will be responsible for coordinating and controlling
planning of available resources to achieve production strategies and targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay;
  • Assist in ordering products and in providing estimates;
  • Determine equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand;
  • Maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to ensure all data is system driven
    providing accurate time and material usage;
  • Ensure that the jobs are completed on time whilst collaborating with various departments;
  • Report on any errors or discrepancy that may arise;
  • Respond to all enquiries from external and internal customers in a timely and professional
  • Develop and maintain detailed and current knowledge of products and services offered by
    ABCorp; and
  • Assist with general warehouse operations as required.

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in planning of production orders within a digital printing/manufacturing
    environment (essential);
  • Sound working knowledge of Digital print services, equipment and suppliers (will be an
  • Basic Pre-press experience – adobe creative suite (essential);
  • Demonstrates proactive and well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Intermediate MS Office and computer skills, including previous experience using ERP systems;
  • Ability to build good working relationships with internal and external customers;
  • Sound analytical skills to identify trends or problems;
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail; and
  • Able to work well within a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision.
